INTRODUCTION

In this exercise, you will use the skills taught in the previous tutorial. Using the blueprint provided, you will create wireframe, solid, planes, and complete toolpathing to deliver a machine ready program.

OBJECTIVES

All creation and toolpathing will be completed in Mastercam.

Create wireframe
Create a solid model
Create planes
Demonstrate how to toolpath a solid using 2D & 3D toolpaths

INSTRUCTIONS

To reduce programming time, facing operations will not be included.
Stock is 6.0 x 1.75 x .75 inches.
All feeds and speeds are to be calculated appropriately using the Feeds & Speeds guide located below.
All cutting tools used are to be coated carbide.

Note

Save your work in Mastercam often. You don't want to lose hours worth of work if something goes wrong.
