The conference will bring together approximately 850 people to focus on the critical issues related to advanced technological education. PIs and staff working on ATE projects and centers across the country will participate in the conference. While conference attendees are primarily from community colleges, there are also attendees from business and industry, secondary school systems, four-year colleges, and research and development centers. As always, the PI meeting brings together a diverse group from education and industry in areas such as: information technology, engineering technology, micro- and nanotechnologies, chemical technology, biotechnology, and many others.
The 2013 PI Conference will proceed as planned regardless of the status of the Federal Government shutdown.
