Welcome and Overview of ATE – Celeste Carter

Dr. Carter, lead program officer for the ATE program, will provide an overview of ATE and help participants understand the funding levels and structure of the program. The ATE solicitation will be shared and discussed.

2:15 - 3:15  

Strengthening Industry Partnerships and Diversity – Mary Slowinski

During this segment, participants will hear from a panel of ATE and industry experts as they discuss topics of interest to the ATD community - specifically creating robust industry partnerships and recruiting/retaining for diversity. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and share ideas and experiences from their own work.

3:30 - 4:00  

Utilizing ATE Resources – Rachael Bower

Helping ATD participants learn more about how they can benefit from ATE community resources will be the focus of this segment. Resources explored will include EvaluATE, Mentor Connect and Mentor-Links, ATE Central, and the ATE Impacts book.

4:00 - 4:30  

Negotiating the HI-TEC Conference – Rachael Bower/ Mary Slowinski

In this final segment, participants will look through the HI-TEC program, explore the conference mobile site, and consider who they would like to connect with during the conference.
