Environmental Risk: Asthma Risk Assessment Activity

During this 2-page activity, from the Advanced Technology Environmental and Energy Center, students learn about releases of pollutants into the environment and how to apply knowledge and skills in a community context. The lesson consists of four steps including research on what triggers asthma, collecting data on conditions in students' houses, identifying the hazards in their houses, and determining a plan to minimize exposure to triggers.
