This resource contains syllabi developed by Lewis and Clark Community College to modify National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) certified courses with HEV technologies. This project was funded by a seed grant from the Center for Advanced Automotive Technology (CAAT). The modified courses are: (1) AUTO 140 - Orientation to Automotive Technology, (2) AUTO 141 - Introduction to Automotive Engine Performance and Repair, (3) AUTO 143 - Introduction to Alignment, Suspension, Steering and Brakes, (4) AUTO 145 - Introduction to Automotive Electrical, Heating and Air Conditioning, (5) AUTO 147 - Introduction to Automatic and Manual Transmissions and Drivelines, (6) AUTO 241 - Automotive Engine Repair, (7) AUTO 242 - Automotive Engine Performance, (8) AUTO 243 - Brake Systems Diagnosis and Repair, (9) AUTO 244 - Alignment, Suspension, and Steering, (10) AUTO 245 - Automotive Heating, Cooling and Air Conditioning, (11) AUTO 246 - Electrical Systems: Diagnosis and Repair, (12) AUTO 248 - Automatic Transmissions and Transaxles, and (13) AUTO 279 - Advanced Engine Performance

Each syllabi is approximately 5-8 pages long, contains sections such as a Course Description, Learning Objectives, Materials of Instruction, Learning Resource Center Support Materials, Methods of Instruction, Evaluation of Student Achievement, Attendance Policy, Course Contents, Accommodation Statement, and Academic Dishonesty. The Highlighted sections of the Syllabi point to where HEV technologies were incorporated into the courses.
