This video, created by Support Center for Microsystems Education (SCME), demonstrates hydrophobic properties through an experiment with a Tuscan kale leaf. "To illustrate the self-cleaning property of a hydrophobic surface, red chilé powder is sprinkled on the leaf's surface. Such properties are being studied for their applications in micro and nanotechnology."
