Equipment Safety Awareness

This 1-page lab activity, created by the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Network (NACK) Center at Pennsylvania State University, helps familiarize students "with the safety equipment and protocol in the Center for Nanotechnology Education and Utilization (CNEU) and National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) labs." During the activity, students discuss and find lab safety equipment and features, such as first aid stations, safety showers, spill control centers, and eyewash stations. Included are ten student questions related to be completed after the lab.
