Sunscreen and Nanotechnology Lab

The Sunscreen and Nanotechnology Lab was created by SHINE: Seattle's Hub for Industry-driven Nanotechnology Education. "This lab consists of activities designed to teach students about nanotechnology applications in sunscreens." Lab resources include a 35-page lab manual and lab safety data sheets. The lab manual includes a pre-lab assignment, safety hazards and precautions, pre-lab questions, an introduction, background information, experimental procedures, references, Appendix - What are Nanoparticles and What do We Know of Their Toxicity?, a lab report sheet, data analysis questions, an additional writing assignment, and more.
