Bullpup Unlimited: Response Time in a Slumping Firearms Market
This case study describes how the Additive Manufacturing (AM) department at Somerset Community College collaborated with a small business struggling to compete in the weapons accessories industry. Implementing additive manufacturing methods helped Bullpup Unlimited quickly move through the prototype design process with relatively low costs, and they were able to introduce a new product on the market before competitors. In this case, utilizing 3D printing increased the survival of a small business against large companies.
