When Math Happens: 3 Shapes

This resource is a 3 Act Math lesson from the When Math Happens website. Each Act includes a video and a set of questions. The first video shows three different shapes being 'dumped' into three different buckets. Each bucket is then given a total value. During the lesson students guess how many points each shape is worth and decide what information is needed to determine point value. Standards alignment for Common Core Standards and TEKS is provided.
