Lab: Measuring Open Circuit Voltage and Short Circuit Current in PV Array (2 of 25)

This video is provided by the Renewable Energy Systems Training (REST) Laboratory Development and Workforce Training project and guides viewers through the second lab in a series on photovoltaic systems. This lab has viewers measuring open circuit voltage and short circuit current in PV Array. A multimeter is needed to measure volts. A jumper cable and a clamp meter are needed to measure the short circuit.
The lab video runs 1:00 minute in length. Related lecture presentation slides are available to view separately. Labs and lectures are part of the Solar PV Planning, Installation, and Troubleshooting course taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
