HPBOP Overview and Update on Certification

This presentation, from the Building Efficiency for a Sustainable Tomorrow (BEST) Center, is from the BEST Center's 2023 Annual Institute and provides information about the High Performance Building Operations Professional (HPBOP) Certification. The HPBOP Certification addresses the advanced knowledge and skills required to operate anew generation of commercial buildings and was developed in accordance with the International Standards Organization (ISO) 17024 standards. The Certification "requires a core knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems and incorporates higher level knowledge and skills in the application of energy conservation strategies, effective use of building automation systems, and application of continuous quality improvement practices."
