Holland is a Senior Researcher and Evaluator at Magnolia Consulting. She is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and is currently the lead evaluator for Chesapeake College's NSF-funded Preparing Career Ready Information Technology Technicians project. The project aims to increase female enrollment by 120% over the course of the grant period. It adds industry-standard help desk software and skill development to the curriculum. It embeds four career readiness skills (teamwork, customer service, communication, and professionalism) and 12 soft skill competencies through the addition of Workplace Excellence Series modules into the program's six core courses. The project provides vouchers for students to take two industry certification exams, preparing them with further career ready IT skills to entry the workforce in rural Maryland.
