Exploring the Clean Energy Transition Through the Lens of Energy Justice

In this webinar from the Center for Renewable Energy Advanced Technological Education Resource Center (CREATE), Dana Haine from University of North Carolina (UNC) discusses an energy justice lesson developed by UNC professors. The lesson introduces students to the renewable energy transition and then encourages students to look at it through the perspectives of people and communities. Included are activities, class discussion questions, and case studies with worksheets allowing students examine whether or not a case study promotes energy justice. Haine covers each part of the lesson and discusses its use in class. Also included are resources for teaching about energy justice.
