Leveraging an Open Lab to Provide Greater Access for Students in Your College Program

In this webinar, published by the the Florida Advanced Technological Education Center for Manufacturing (FLATE), Mori Toosi from Polk State College (PSC) discusses using open lab hours to accommodate students' work and life schedules through a "competency-based hybrid, self-paced, and faculty-mentored format." Toosi provides an overview of PSC's engineering Technology program, including the electives that have led to the most on-the-job success, student demographics, recruitment enrollment strategies, the structure of open entry and early exit courses, and more.
