CITE Recruitment and Retention Promotional Documents

This collection of promotional resources, published by Southside Virginia Community College, was used to recruit and retain students for the Center for Information Technology Excellence (CITE) Information Technology (IT) training program, which provides students with hands on IT training while earning college credit. Included in the collection is a program brochure, a course schedule, an informational sheet for the Path to IT Practice program, and an orientation presentation for CITE. The brochure provides an overview of the CITE program, course work involved, CompTIA certificates, and enrollment information. Each course listed includes a brief description of class content. The CITE Spring 2025 Course Schedule lists all the CITE courses offered for the Spring semester in 2025. The Path to IT Practice informational sheet discusses the Path to IT Practice program, which aims to increase CITE enrollment among women and underrepresented populations. The Welcome to CITE presentation goes into detail on the CITE program and CITE certifications, discussing scholarships, internship opportunities, careers in IT, and more.
