This web page, from the Environmental and Natural Resources Technology (EARTh) Center, provides information about the Nahant Marsh Education Center's Summer Research Institute Program. The program gives community college students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in environmental research. The web page includes links to two courses that include an overview of the program.

The courses include the Instructor Guide for Creating a URE Program and Student Interaction with the Scientific Research Process. The Instructor Guide course provides an overview of the program, the student recruitment and hiring process, the structure of the internship, and the culminating student poster presentations. Valuable lessons learned and supplementary documentation are also included. The Student Interaction course is a short case study that describes "... the ways and processes that Nahant Marsh Education Center incorporates the scientific research process with their summer undergraduate research internship program."
