This video, published by EvaluATE: Evaluation Resource Center for Advanced Technological Education, is the fourth in a six-part series for applicants in the process of writing proposals for a National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technological Education (ATE) grant. Each part in the series covers a different aspect of the role of evaluation in an ATE grant proposal. In this video, key aspects of how to write about and understand evaluation data in an ATE grant proposal are outlined. The video covers what evaluation data is collected, and data collection, analysis, and interpretation in the context of an ATE grant proposal. An example of an evaluation data matrix is shared, with time spent discussing the components of an evaluation data matrix.
