The series describes what the programming language R is and reasons for learning it. In this video, Keyes demonstrates what basic data analysis in R looks like. This demonstration includes using a software package to obtain a summary of a dataset. Topics covered include summary statistics and the creation of contingency tables, also known as cross tabulation or crosstabs.
