Collection description:
This collection, provided by EvaluATE: Evaluation Resource Center for Advanced Technological Education, features a series of videos that walk viewers through the process of using sentiment analysis and topic modeling in evaluation. Sentiment analysis is a process that uses natural language processing to determine the emotional tone of a text, while topic modeling uses machine learning to identify similar words within a text. In each video, data scientist Nolan Ackerman demonstrates a certain aspect of the sentiment analysis and topic modeling processes. Throughout the series, Ackerman walks through data preparation, model development, model validation, and data analysis and virtualization.
