This video from EvaluATE is the first in a six-part video series that "provides a basic orientation to evaluation for individuals who are planning to submit proposals to the National Science Foundation’s [NSF] Advanced Technological Education program [ATE]. Each video in the series answers a common question often asked by individuals who are new to evaluation. During the video, Lori Wingate, co-principle investigator of EvaluATE, provides an explanation of what evaluation looks like in the context of the NSF ATE program. Discussed are the four main steps of evaluation and the utility of project logic models, including a description of each logic model component.

The video runs 9:41 minutes in length. Other parts of the series are available to view separately.
