These resources from the BEST Center provide information about the Sustainable Facilities Operations (SFO) Associate Degree program at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC). This program is designed to prepare students for managing facility operations in roles such as energy manager, facilities manager, maintenance supervisor, and more. The program places "emphasis ... on cost-effective energy options, direct digital controls, energy management systems, sustainable operations management, maintenance management, commissioning, and project management."

The 32-page guide includes a table of contents and provides information about the program rationale and key elements, future trends, industry involvement, labor market needs, recruitment, program infrastructure, and pedagogy.
