FTIR and and UV-Vis Spectroscopy Techniques

This webinar, published by the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Support (NACK) Center at Pennsylvania State University, provides a brief overview of fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy techniques. During the webinar, presenter Neda Habibi from The University of North Texas introduces spectroscopy, going into detail on the theory behind FTIR and the working operation of FTIR. Additionally, Habibi discusses UV-Vis spectroscopy, why it is used, and the type of information it can produce.
The webinar runs 21:08 minutes in length. Presentation slides and an audio version of the webinar are also included.
