Thermal Evaporation

This webinar from the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Support (NACK) Center at Pennsylvania State University covers thermal evaporation and its use for thin film deposition in the nanotechnology industry. Throughout the webinar, Peter Kazarinoff from Portland Community College walks through how thermal evaporation works and discusses what type of materials and products involve thermal evaporation. Additionally, Richard Hill from Erie Community College demonstrates the thermal evaporation process providing a "real-world example of thermal evaporation in action using a low-cost set-up that you can build in your lab and use with students."
The webinar runs 56:44 minutes in length. Also included are presentation slides and an audio version of the webinar.
