Vacuum Function, Operation and Systems

This webinar, published by the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Support (NACK) Center at Pennsylvania State University, focuses on teaching vacuum systems and vacuum technology as a foundation for nanotechnology education. During the webinar, Terry Kuzma from Pennsylvania State University introduces vacuum technology and discusses the background information necessary for the operation of a vacuum simulator. Kuzma describes various vacuum based process systems and covers different aspects of vacuum technology topics, such as the properties of gases, the theory of pressure, and vacuum ranges. Additionally, Nancy Louwagie from Normandale Community College leads a demonstration of a rough vacuum system.
The webinar runs 1:38:38 minutes in length. Presentation slides and an audio version of the webinar are also included.
