Applications of Nanotechnology

This webinar, published by the Nanotechnology Applications and Career Knowledge Support (NACK) Center at Pennsylvania State University, focuses on applications of nanotechnology, particularly in nanomedicine and nanobiology. After an introduction to the various application areas of nanotechnology, Jared Ashcroft from Pasadena City College goes into detail on nanotechnology's impact in medicine and biology. Covered are topics such as nanoparticle-biconjugates and the use of nanotechnology in COVID-19 vaccines. Additionally, examples of nanotechnology in everyday objects, such as tires and lights, is discussed.
