Interview with Forough Hashemi, Former Electrical and Electronics Technology Department Chair at Laney College

In the interview, Hashemi discusses the Electrical Technology Program at Laney College, which provides training for electricians. Hashemi describes the program curriculum, which covers advanced lighting controls; photovoltaic system design and installation; and energy, efficiency, and sustainability. The interview also covers challenges and opportunities in the solar industry, the Laney College summer bridge program for high school students, and the importance of project-based learning.
