Biotech 245: Bioinformatics for Biotechnology

This 6-page syllabus provides an overview of the Bioinformatics for Biotechnology course taught at Kennedy King Community College. During this course, students will explore a variety of bioinformatics research topics and concepts through case studies and a problem solving approach. The course combines lectures with computer-based lab sessions to offer hands-on experience in applying bioinformatics to diverse research challenges, such as genome analysis, DNA microarray analysis, phylogenetics, 3D structure prediction, and proteomics.
