This 2-page catalog description provides general information about the Additive Manufacturing Technology: 3D Design and Production certificate program offered by De Anza College. This program "... provides knowledge of the fundamentals of computer-aided design (CAD), design for additive manufacturing (DfAM), reverse engineering principles, rapid 3D printing prototyping, and the required knowledge, skills, and abilities for additive manufacturing lab technicians." During the program, students will learn industry-standard practices for commonly utilized 3D printing materials and technology. These technologies include fused deposition modeling (FDM), stereolithography (SLA), material jetting, selective laser sintering (SLS), and direct metal laser sintering (DMLS).

This document includes a program description, learning outcomes, certificate requirements, and more.
