This 4-page document, provided by Columbus State Community College, includes information about the interactive Educator Bus Tour held on October 31, 2017. This resource includes a description of the event, event agenda, and tips on planning a bus tour. The Building an Academic Pathway for Industrial Engineering Operations Technicians project was heavily involved in planning and piloting this tour, in which 25 high school educators, counselors, and administrators joined 25 Columbus State faculty and staff on a tour of local companies. The purpose of this event was to connect student influencers with local high-demand career areas. The 50 attendees took a bus to three different companies: Cardinal Health, Dublin Fleet Management, and Honda North America. During the rides, the attendees heard presentations about different Columbus State programs, including Logistics Engineering Technology.
